For a long time, my life has involved a lot of change — new spaces, new rhythms, new beginnings.

But what really shaped me wasn’t the movement itself.

It was what my nervous system learned early on:
That safety couldn’t be assumed.
That it had to be created.

I don’t carry this as an identity or a story I relive.
But my body remembers — and I listen.

Over time, I stopped trying to “push through” transitions, emotions, or intensity.
Instead, I began orienting my life around one simple devotion:
Can my body feel safe enough to be here?

This is what regulation looks like for me now — not just as a traveller, but as a human with a sensitive nervous system:

☪️ Before I commit to anything, I check for alignment — values, tone, unspoken weight

☪️ When I enter something new, I expect nothing of myself except grounding and safety

☪️ I create one familiar anchor — a space, a rhythm, something my body recognises

☪️ I choose nourishment that soothes rather than stresses my system

☪️ I reduce external clutter so my internal world can settle

☪️ I return, again and again, to practices that reconnect me to meaning and presence

What once felt like a mean robotic dictation now feels relational, warm and loving.

This isn’t a routine anymore.

✨ It’s a way of living that says: my body is not a problem to override. ✨

And here’s the part I see so often with other empaths:
🪷There is so much wisdom.
🪷So much awareness.
🪷So much empowered truth.

But it often stays in the realm of knowledge — analysis — service to others.

Without embodiment, insight doesn’t become lived freedom.

It becomes another place the nervous system works hard to hold.

We don’t need to analyse these cycles anymore — even the subtle ones.

Not because everything collapsed —
but because everything stayed standing while feeling strangely unfamiliar.

Like walking through a home where all the furniture has been moved…
but never quite put back. 🪑

For a long time, I believed success looked like:
•Momentum
•Consistency
•Staying switched on
If things kept moving, I felt safe.

What I didn’t realize was that this “safety” came from alertness.

As empaths and highly sensitive people:
Our awareness is sharp
Our intuition is refined

Being ‘on’ slowly starts to feel like who we are
But the nervous system doesn’t just shape how we feel —
it determines what we can sustainably hold. 🧠

Throughout this year, my body kept saying something confronting:
“I can’t maintain this anymore.”

That confused me deeply, because on the surface,
I had created everything I thought I wanted.

Underneath, an older belief was quietly running the show:
•Safety depends on staying alert
•If I soften, something might fall apart
•If I rest, I lose control

Facing this was humbling.

I loved what I was doing —
but it was no longer bringing joy.
It was consuming me. 🔥

So when I chose to pause…
to listen…
to unravel these patterns…

…it looked like failure from the outside.
Internally, it was the greatest success I’ve known. ✨

I chose:
A deeper relationship with myself
A deeper relationship with God

I’m learning something my mind couldn’t force:
Grounding isn’t a decision
It’s something the body allows
When it finally detects safety 🌱

I practiced:
•Existing without justification
•Experiencing softness without consequence
•Letting nothing be required of me

…without bracing for what might go wrong next.

This year asked me to redefine success.
Not as output —
but as depth of connection. 🤍

Some parts of our life—the timing, the direction, the immovable lessons—are simply not ours to control 🕊️

They’re held in the hands of Divinity.

Surrendering to this is not defeat.

Our egos crave control. They tell us we’re only worthy if life looks a certain way—if we succeed, belong, perform, or finally get “there” 🎭

But none of that is true.

True freedom begins the moment we surrender to the life we’ve actually been given—not the one we’re striving to force into shape 🌀

That’s not giving up. That’s real spiritual power 💥

Because when you surrender to Divine will, you’re not shrinking—you’re aligning.
You’re not failing—you’re freeing yourself from the illusion that it was ever up to you alone.

🌟 This is the alchemy we often miss:
It’s not that our desires are wrong. They’re beautiful and valid ❤️

It’s just that their fulfillment may come in a way we never expected.

After 8 years of living in Temples all over the world in 2019 I moved back in with my mum and started a little massage + coaching biz from the spare room in her home.

To now building an online coaching biz and offering 1:1 retreats here in Bali.

I’ve completely transformed myself and learned so much about who I am, my capacity and I’m so proud of this and what God has allowed me to achieve through this medium.

But I’ve now reached a point where my heart and intuition are guiding me down a different road. One I’ve not been down before…

Every other major transition in my life I’ve been able to hold onto my special service, my joy of serving and teaching but this road I need to walk down alone, at least for some time…

So I’ve decided to take a little pause from my business for the remainder of the year.
This has been a really tough decision but I deeply trust it’s the right one.

For those who have bookings already locked in. I’ll be there to serve you with bells on.

Often underneath the surface for every Empath, there’s a low level pressure to please, fit in and belong that remains an undercurrent within our psyche that’s hard even for us to see.

Whilst it’s the individual’s responsibility to do this inner work, to transform, there’s only so much we can do on our own and we all need and deserve loving reciprocal relationships where we feel really seen, heard and understood - validated at the core of our beings.

It’s within these reciprocal relationships that we can have our softness reflected back to us, we can learn it’s safe to receive that softness that empaths so freely give to others.

Whether you’ve recently been betrayed or find yourself preempting how you could be betrayed…

The journey to experiencing trust with others starts within yourself.

When we cannot trust ourselves, be there for ourselves in hard times.

Choose something simple and consciously show up there each day, no matter how small, congratulate yourself!

🪷 Compassion - Being kind and supportive in your thoughts and actions
When you notice you’re feeling down, you’re likely berating yourself. Cancel this and replace with kindness!

✨ Learning the difference between self discipline and the inner critic ✨
Is your structure for self discipline coming from guilt and shame or meeting needs?

Embodying the above traits will illuminate and give you strength to choose worthiness instead!

2024 has been my most magical year yet!
All my dreams became a reality!

It was definitely a year of hard work internally and externally, and a year of having to show that work!

Whilst there were moments of immense pain as I watched my false ego die, simultaneously I was privileged to witness what Divinity had carved and moulded my consciousness into.
It was and continues to be an awe inspiring journey.

Particularly in 2024 I felt my inner world come more to the forefront of my conscious reality and for the first time in my life I felt truly free to express parts of myself that laid dormant and suppressed.

Thank you to all the incredible souls that were part of this journey with me.

During my 5 years as a monk, particularly in the beginning stages, I was quite rebellious. 🤭

It wasn’t a conscious choice or even part of my character, really.

At the time I didn’t realise it but anyone in a position of authority was a threat to me.

Because authority meant potential abuse, violation and betrayal -pain!

I didn’t even know what a healthy experience looked or felt like…

There was no texture within my energy body, within my nervous system for such a thing.

So I’d fight with it or run from it!

This mistrust shined forth as pride, arrogance, and fierce independence.

It was such a prominent experience at the time that even my spiritual teacher would come in my dreams and tell me 🙈
“You’re too prideful!”
But in a loving way. In an encouraging way.

Whilst it was a painful experience to go through…

With a myriad of emotional wounds, drenched in guilt and shame sprinkled with a constant flow of trauma response patterns all being activated at once!

I look back at it with such fondness because it was actually the first time I experienced real love and care, it was the first time I began my journey to heal my trust wound.

And to feel that being with others was safe.

In short trust is the biggest impediment because when we cannot trust, fear - trauma response patterns will forever dictate our reality - EGO.

And this not only stops Divinity from entering our hearts, it stops us from seeing it in others, it stops us from receiving what is truly meant for us.

Trust is an integral foundational trait for us to be able to advance in all areas of life and create real joy!

However in this battle between the head and heart - learning to embrace Divinity’s plan for us, to deeply trust, humility emerges.

And humility is the one of the most important traits for a spiritualist to develop.

The world will always make sense and feel safe within your own hearts. 💙

From the moment I arrived back in Australia, I’ve felt many energies pulling at me. Not in any malicious way, just in great need.

Over and over I see such material opulence and abundance yet such poverty stricken and broken hearts.

A life fully reliant on the mind and senses.
No magic or belief in a life beyond.

I keep reminding myself that I’m here to serve but today it just overwhelmed me.

I sat with and processed many heavy dense layers of consciousness.

I sat with all the ways I wish for the world to be different, how the suffering could be less.

And I returned again to my own heart and my small offerings of love and how they’re enough.

In my heart again I found love, I found joy and I found sovereignty.

Whilst the world may not be aligned with what I need to be full.

I can still find ways to fill myself up and share my light as I’ve been put here to do. 🤍

This doesn’t mean that we can’t have joyful, meaningful and deep connections with others.

But if we don’t connect with our own light first it’s very difficult
❌To not become enmeshed in others energy fields/vibrations.
❌To remain authentic, autonomous and sovereign within the connection.
❌To not compromise our values for the sake of the connection.

In the vedas it explains the term sanatana dharma which means

The soul’s eternal occupation is to be in service to and in deep union with divinity. It’s actually not possible to separate this.

Trying to do so is akin to taking heat from fire or liquidity from water, it’s simply not possible.

Meaning that this connection is always there but our conscious focus is not!

So when we make an effort to see and feel this, we’re reminded of who we are and that the love we need is always there. ALWAYS!

And the more we focus on maintaining this connection with self and Divinity! Bringing ourselves back into alignment with it…

We attract others that see, respect, cherish, love us and lift us up!

Time and time again divinity will test us and put us in situations that stir things from the outside in and the inside out 🙈.

And it’s easy to get swept away with the emotions and the stories from the mind strongly dictating our perception of reality.

This is part of the journey.

But alas

This is not the purpose of the tests.

In each moment we can make a choice to detach from the drama of the mind and learn to see what’s being communicated underneath.

To see that current of love and higher purpose even amidst the greatest calamities.

It’s always there and it will always be there. 🪷💙

Working with hundreds of people worldwide as an energy healer and spiritual coach.

Here are some things I’ve noticed that take place when your spirit is tired,
not in sync with your body and mind
and you’re desiring to grow spiritually - Live Soul Aligned!

1. Emotionally Empty - You often feel empty, numb and drained even though you’re well-rested

2. Lack of motivation - You don’t feel excited or motivated about anything in your life even though you have the physical energy for it.

3. Isolation/Loneliness - You just don’t want to be around other people, often craving to be alone but in that, you also feel lonely.

4. Escapism - You’re seeking out things to distract you like media, comfort food, relationships that you know aren’t good for you.

5. Agitation and Grief - You often feel really down, easily agitated or grief-stricken without concrete reason or physical. exhaustion.

6. Boredom - You’re often feeling really bored and unfulfilled even though your body is ready to be active.

7. Lack of Joy
8. Lack of meaning and purpose
9. Strange new fear (abandonment, aging, death)
10. Identity crisis - I don’t know who I am or what I want any more
The last 4 signs are strongly connected with the higher energy centres and divinity trying to awaken you to some big changes.

These signs can look almost identical to a psychological dilemma or emotional breakdown.

However, these are all signs that your conscious attention is needed to aspects of your spirit and energy body to learn something, grow or evolve.

For this reason Empaths and HSP are very kinesthetic,

We often need physical touch, face to face interactions, doing things with our hands and being physically active to feel fulfilled and like we’ve achieved something.

This helps us ground our energies and get a break for the constant analysis and overthinking.
And to be in our bodies!

However if our physical activities are not coupled with conscious inner work things in our physical reality are unlikely to change!
For us to really grow body, mind and spirit.

To transform -
🪷Get clear about what you desire (don’t judge them)
🪷Explore leaks in your energy field around fulfilling these aims
🪷What limiting beliefs and wounds are stopping you from earthing this
(Often connected with a lower self need we’re suppressing feel guilt or shame around)
Ie. Love and connection but we don’t feel worthy of that love.
Instead we employ coping strategies (limerence + dissonance)
🪷 As these beliefs and wounds come into the conscious mind, start to gently challenge their validity in your life.
Explore when you have experienced the opposite
**I will always be abandoned - Look for experiences where you’ve felt together and connected with others and yourself

Limerence and dissonance need specific healing tools that I can’t fully cover here but if we don’t know what we desire instead we’re unlikely to even see these two patterns be activated consciously what to speak of transform them!

As we grow and evolve it’s normal that what was once aligned for us isn’t any longer.

Noticing this misalignment feels like abandonment and even betrayal of self.

Part of the conscious journey is continually finding ways to align our lower self and higher self needs…

Ways that are ignited and enhance our authentic expression. 🤩

The 2 biggest mistakes we can make in this process
❌ Is to judge our lower self needs,
❌ Or think that we’ve gone backwards by engaging them!

However silly, crazy or diametrically opposed to our current values these patterns of meeting our needs might be, they’re still part of us.
Parts that just want love, care and connection.
It’s all part of the path.

Here are practices I use when I’ve noticed this misalignment - abandonment

🪷 I congratulate myself on using my emotions as feedback and recognising something is not right instead of suppressing them because I’m ‘too busy’

🪷 I make time to sit in silence and connect with the emotion inside my body. Likely connected with themes the 3 lower chakras as well as the heart.

🪷 Once I’ve connected with the emotion in my body, I see its connection to the subconscious story (pattern/belief/wound). This story will be akin to a childs cries for help (tantrum). I listen with love until I can see the need underneath

🪷 I empathize with those parts of me that have been through a rough time in the past by agreeing with them and apologising for abandoning and betraying them.

🪷 I grieve for the parts of me that needed to reach so far outside of authenticity to meet basic needs of love and connection. And I allow for other expressions so that energy can be released from my body. (Walk, dance, sing, journal..ect)

🪷 I recognize that it’s going to take time to shift the patterns completely but I’m still lovable exactly as I am in this moment.

🪷 I congratulate myself on all the progress I’ve made, despite my actions still not aligning with my current values and notice immense progress regardless.

🪷 I forgive myself and create clear steps to not repeat the same misaligned actions that lead to self abandonment and betrayal.

How do you reconnect with you? 💙🪷🙏🏻

Truly this is one of the greatest blessings in my life.

To have had no other choice but to deeply surrender my heart to my spiritual life.

It’s an imperative part of being human to have, who we are at our core, our authentic expressions mirrored back to us.

This validates our authenticity and ultimately makes us feel safe to be who we are in the world.

And if we can’t get it externally growing up and as adults, we usually get it spiritually and go deep inside.

This creates special gifts of intuition and deep empathy.

However it can also create a lot of turmoil and pain when it comes to relationships…

Without doing the healing work along-side our spiritual practice this can often lead to using spirituality

❌ As a crutch for not facing our shadows (which is actually the point of the process.)
❌ To avoiding our material and worldly duties (escaping)
❌ To avoid any type of authority (I see this most often)
❌ To avoid feeling that sting of potentially being betrayed by those in a position of power

Aka spiritual by-passing

And this creates a type of hollowness or superficialty to our lives because we’re not able to fully see and connect with our true authentic self

And therefore what we offer up to divinity will have very mixed intentions and results.

This is why the first part of my ATMA healing method focuses solely on emotional mastery.

Learning to see the lower self as just as important as the higher self and in complete alignment with your Soul Aligned Life!

Yes, beautiful soul! You’re not your emotions.

But they are important!

They’re our own personalized feedback mechanism, specifically designed to support us in regaining our authenticity and going deeper on our conscious healing journey.

It’s just decoding their sometimes cryptic messages that can be challenging!

We often make the mistake of
❌going straight into analyzing, intellectualizing, decoding them from the mental platform and not from the higher self and from the heart. (emotions aren’t logical)
❌ or even worse suppressing them altogether.

I get it, it can be scary, uncomfortable and overwhelming!

The key is to first come back into your body.

This helps to create space between the intensity of the emotional feedback and to hear what your spirit is trying to communicate with you.

However the stronger the emotional charge the harder it will be to go from such intensity to creating that space.

Because emotion is energy in motion and its supposed to flow through us uninhibitedly.

Here are some ways you can do this -

Anger/Frustration/Rage:
The most socially unaccepted emotions and most commonly repressed.
Usually a front for immense grief and heartache
Empaths will usually turn this in on ourselves through berating and harsh words.
✅ Speak those words out to Divinity (tell them how you feel)
✅ Go for a run
✅ Rage clean your house

Lethargy/Heaviness/Depression:
A sign we don’t know how to meet a specific need or haven’t met it in awhile. Often depth of connection is the strongest unmet need for us.
✅ Dance,
✅ Run or walk
✅ Sing
Once you get that energy moving, clarity will come.

Anxiety:
✅ Do something outside of your comfort zone
For me this was often just doing something that wasn’t on my to-do list for the day!
Usually connected with perfectionism and an energy that keeps you stuck in your head and stressing over something that hasn’t even happened!

Often we’re trying to meet a need through something or someone instead of connecting with ourselves first.

After you’ve completed the action sit with your breath in silence. Feel your breath come right into your body.
Ask for support and guidance.
Open yourself to receiving it. 🙌🏻🪷✨🩵

There’s often confusion between a healing journey and a conscious journey.

Let me explain…

🪷 Healing is when we’ve become aware of a part of ourselves that’s negatively impacting our current reality and this part requires care, love, nourishment and support to come back to the whole.

🪷 The conscious journey is never ending…

It’s a lifestyle choice where we’re dedicated to living on purpose
and in alignment with our highest self,
our values,
allowing this to be at the forefront and to never be compromised despite the calamities we endure.

🪷 The conscious journey is one that commits us to taking responsibility for every aspect of our lives and why it’s not working.

It doesn’t mean that times of healing won’t arise again and again to integrate and assimilate but it’s up to us to learn -
✅ not to identify with it (woundology)
✅ to clearly see it for what it is - see it through eyes of detachment
✅ and decide what we want to move toward instead…

Because we absolutely have control over this. Actually it’s the one thing we have control over in life is our inner world!

And ultimately this should be a joyous experience!

If we don’t have this clarity going into our healing, it’s going to be quite tricky to not identify with your emotional world and this leads to such immense heartbreak and frustration.

I’ve been here many times! 🥹😭

✅ Use your emotions as feedback, not facts
Starting to see the patterns of resistance for what they are - just resistance from receiving the love you deserve.
Your emotions are simply trying to educate you on who you are and what you need, especially in those moments when the patterns are activated!

✅ Create a Sadhana - Make time to process and come back to yourself
Learning to navigate and create mastery within your emotional world, seeing the patterns for what they are and knowing exactly what tools to use in real-time!
The most important is carving out time each day to be with yourself to sit with and process your own unique and beautiful energy.

✅ The Art of Detachment - Spiritual Symbology
Sitting more firmly in your own energy, you can now begin to use your intuitive prowess to see the external energy as a reflection and mirror of your own inner world. Seeing how Divinity is continually communicating with you and encouraging you to grow and evolve.

How to get tangible physical results in your healing journey

For a long time I got really hung up on intellectualizing and analyzing every aspect of my journey.

It made me feel safe, secure and in control that I could make sense of things in my mind.

But constantly doing this kept me stuck in my head and ultimately avoiding the mountains and mountains of insecurity and emotional pain.

Even though I had some really powerful inner tools, that helped me manage and master my emotional world, nothing in my life ever really changed!

I just felt like I was going around and around in circles!

Here’s what I did differently

🦋 I completely let go of any expectations of what my life ‘should’ look like and made space to open my heart to what is meant for me.
I showed up to receive.

🦋 I allowed this desire to flow into a vision that came from my heart and my soul, not from my mind!

🦋 I got clear about where the misalignment was within my energy body. The missing links between what I desired to move towards and what parts of me didn’t feel in alignment with that.

🦋 I felt out where energy was leaking from my body and disconnected it from fear, worry, anger, grief…etc

🦋 And instead breathed in my heart and soul aligned vision until the resistance faded away

My relationship with my father was a multilayered tangle of wounds and complications.

He was predominantly physically absent from my life from my 5th birthday onwards.

And I couldn’t express my grief and loss to my caregivers at the time so I told myself I just have to be strong and be there for everyone else.

Over time things became even more complicated with physical abuse and toxic behaviour when I did meet my father.

By the time I was an adult, I was at such a loss as to how to heal. Where to begin?
It just became this huge gaping void that I’d put into a too-hard basket!

Until I began to see how not dealing with it negatively impacted my life, and I’d had enough!

I was tired of living in survival mode
❌Constantly doubting and second-guessing myself
❌My confidence and self-worth attached to the approval and validation of others or physical achievements
❌Never feeling safe in my body
❌Struggling so much with money
❌ constantly feeling like I needed to be everything for everyone!
❌ Couldn’t speak up for myself, set boundaries!
❌ Didn’t know how to trust myself and feel where I belonged in the world.
❌ All types of relationships were really hard!

Whenever I face a challenge in my life I remember my years of training as a monk.

In that training I learned the art of devotional service

And I remind myself that devotion can conquer anything…

Not just because it is a biological and energetic need to be in contact with a source of power that transcends human limitation.

But because
Devotion means love,

Love is the highest vibration and it’s unconquerable!

There are lots of reasons our vibration can become low but these two are usually at the top of the list!

We can fall into these cycles when we’re not aware of

I think fully realizing this was the last snare of my codependency and people pleasing patterns…

The pain of carrying around the heavy weight of these wounds in my heart 🥹
Actually believing others choices about me was my fault! 🤦🏼‍♀️

As Empaths we’re so used to living in other peoples frames of self and reality.

Not having our own frame and deeply fearing being in our own energy, our own power!

It’s only by facing that fear and its illusory power over us can we break these patterns and deeply know how worthy and loveable we are!

By facing this fear I was able to fully realized this.

And without any material or external source of validation!

I continually built momentum in this vibration by exploring what lifted me, not what would make others like me or approve of!

This momentum built so high that it became so obvious when something wasn’t in alignment with my power, my energy, my values…

And what I just stopped trading my precious power for such unworthy surrogates!

Here are 3 ways to start rebuilding your energy container

🪷 Prioritize connection over zoning out/dissociating to recharge.
Understandably, we need time to switch off but this doesn’t recharge our emotional and subtle energies, just the physical body.
Instead, sit in silence with yourself, feel your breath coming into your body. Feel the natural flow coming in and going out.

🪷 Use your breath to bring your Spirit back to your Heart
As you sit in silence and with your emotions, feel all that energy you’ve been pouring out come back to you, come back to your heart. If you feel energy cords going to other people or situations, cut them and bring your precious energy back to you.

🪷 What are you resisting? What is the lesson?
In this process of pulling your energy back, you will likely notice resistance in the form of big emotions like anger or grief. Underneath these emotions are hidden messages trying to communicate something for your soul journey.

You’re exactly where you need to be. You’re safe!

Let’s take off this mask of perfectionism together and stop trading our Authenticity for Perfection!

For me, this pattern was so deeply woven into my psyche, that I truly believed it was part of my character, my personality!

Perfectionism held me in a prison of fear, panic attacks and anxiety for most of my life!

Having to constantly find ways to feel safe as a child, I thought if I got
everything ‘perfect’ or everything ‘right’
(fit in with the needs and moods of my caregivers)

I was then good enough to receive love, I was worthy of love.

Taking this into adult life made me feel so inept and uncomfortable in any social situation!

It was beyond painful and exhausting as I just had no idea how to be in my own energy, to feel safe in my own energy, especially around other people!

I would always
❌Try to control other people’s perception of me and if I wasn’t completely charming, popular or important in their eyes meant I was a failure, I wasn’t enough!

❌ Put all this pressure on myself to behave in certain ways or achieve certain tasks in time frames that were so unrealistic!

❌ Berate myself endlessly for the actions and behaviours of others - If they didn’t like me it was my fault!

But once I realised that perfectionism is an adaptation from a traumatic event/s
and
that other people’s actions and behaviours actually have nothing to do with me, I could separate that pattern from my authenticity, my real self! I was free!

What has helped you to let go of perfectionism?

It can be a cruel, confusing and overwhelming experience to break away and feel completely safe and grounded in your own energy, no longer absorbing and clearly seeing where your energy ends and theirs begins.

We often fear that
❌we’ll be abandoned,
❌the relationship will change,
❌I’ll become selfish and
❌other people will suffer if I stand on my own.

And it can take years without the right tools or support!

Here are 5 steps I use to create my own energy container -

✅ Acceptance and awareness of your Empath Powers
You’re different and that’s an awesome thing!

✅ Facing internal resistance
Seeing and observing the different patterns of resistance that are prominent and stopping you from being content in your beautiful energy
ie. Codependency, people pleasing, chaos leading to burnout and overwhelm, sleep issues, attracting the ‘wrong’ partner, constantly anxious and needing to disconnect, hide or disassociate to regain energy.

✅ Use your emotions as feedback, not facts
Starting to see the patterns of resistance for what they are - just resistance from receiving the love you deserve.
Your emotions are simply trying to educate you on who you are and what you need, especially in those moments when the patterns are activated!

✅ Create a Sadhana - Make time to process and come back to yourself.
Learning to navigate and create mastery within your emotional world, seeing the patterns for what they are and knowing exactly what tools to use in real-time!
The most important is carving out time each day to be with yourself to sit with and process your own unique and beautiful energy.

✅ The Art of Detachment - Spiritual Symbology
Sitting more firmly in your own energy, you can now begin to use your intuitive prowess to see the external energy as a reflection and mirror of your own inner world. Seeing how Divinity is continually communicating with you and encouraging you to grow and evolve.

Yes, having these mother and father wounds does impact our ability to navigate external energies including our relationship to money.

And yes the traits and qualities within these wounds often get mistaken for the very fabric and fibre of our being, making them harder to identify and heal.

But there are ways to spot them within our day to day reality.
Actually our healing tools should equate to our lives transforming in very tangible and practical ways.

Having these wounds will show up as
❌ Struggling to support yourself financially (surviving from paycheck to paycheck)
❌ Attracted to dependent partners or dependent yourself on someone
❌ Keep finding yourself back at home or living with people who are less than good for you and your well-being
❌ Have the common issue of people breaking your boundaries or invading your space physically and or emotionally

If you relate to one or more of these, chances are deep down you don’t feel worthy!

In the beginning stages of healing, our identity is very linked to external validation and beliefs that we’re only worthy of love and connection if we do something ‘right’ or externally achieve something.

However…

✅ Discipline = High Self Worth
✅ When we know our worth, it’s not linked to any external achievement or validation.
✅ And we know what we need and show up for ourselves routinely to meet these needs.

The key is to validate and congratulate yourself even when you don’t feel you ‘deserve’ it!

Whatever examples our primary care givers set for us, the qualities and traits that are shown through their actions and words create and shape the way we see and express ourselves in the world but mostly it becomes how we treat ourselves.

We will either over repress or over express these traits and qualities and then they become a call for homeostasis within ourselves.

Meaning we will attract people that are familiar to your subconscious comfort zone (not aligned with our highest truth) until we can heal these wounds.

How to Heal -

🪷 Make time to clear the built up energy stored in your body from the years of high unmet needs.
Father wound usually sits within the heart.

🪷 Unlock your subconscious beliefs
Think about the qualities shown to you by your father.
Where are they showing up in your life? Are you over expressing or over repressing them? And in what areas of your life?

🪷 Start exploring ways you can have a healthier relationship with those qualities and traits you’re repressing or overly expressing. Hint the key is hidden within your strong judgements.

🪷 Explore the hidden meaning and blessings from the experiences. No matter how grave and intense, there are always blessings. We cannot find these without applying the other steps firsts.

I think all of us, however subconsciously, know what’s not working in our lives.

But often we don’t know why or what to do about it and that can be really frustrating!

The main principle underpinning a lack of healthy masculine energy in our lives will always come back our Self belief

🪷Our identity in the world (Third chakra)
🪷Knowing who you are and what you want
🪷Relationship to our boundaries
🪷How we speak up for ourselves in the world
🪷Stability, courage and how we take action in our lives
🪷How we protect ourselves and others

Our father becomes our example of what masculine energy actually is, how we accept it in our lives (or not), as well as within ourselves.

Our journey to healing and transformation of these challenges has very little to do with mending the actual relationship with our father which in most cases isn’t possible, anyway.

And completely about you healing that masculine energy within yourself, taking that maybe not so great example and turning it into something you actually need, want and desire

And for this we use two tools -
Reparenting and Shadow Work

Shadow work helps to not only bring awareness to what’s not working for you, it also gives you the tools to start taking back control over these areas
And
Reparenting allows us to give to ourselves in ways that we missed out on.
For most working through the frustration and anguish of not having our basic needs met in the first place, creates immense resistance and this is where we will need some support to navigate our inner world.

You don’t attract narcissists, lovely.

But it might be a very familiar experience to have your boundaries violated in all these subtle tricky ways!

And that’s not your fault!

However, it does present an opportunity for immense emotional and spiritual growth.

At least this is how I took a really painful experience and used it to transform my life!

Usually the reason that it’s familiar to have our boundaries violated is because we don’t have a framework of self!

A framework of self is when we can deeply trust ourselves, love ourselves and protect ourselves in all the 7 areas of life.
Mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically, career, relationships and financially.

Meaning we know ourselves so well, including our shadows that there’s no opportunity for others to manipulate or take from us in ways that don’t align with our highest truth!

When we don’t take the time to really know ourselves, rely upon ourselves in healthy ways,

This forces us to outsource our needs,
Causing us to feel -
❌Depleted,
❌Exhausted,
❌Angry,
❌Resentful,
❌Anxious and overwhelmed

If we don’t know the value of what we’re outsourcing, we’re more likely to give it to those who don’t deserve it!

Empaths struggle greatly with understanding their needs, particularly in real time and around others.

What to speak of expressing them and asking for them to be met…

This is often because we missed the necessary support we needed in childhood to build a framework of self and feel safe to express that.

In most cases we weren’t allowed to have a sense of self

🪷 Has to be about everyone else

I think the worst thing about this scenario is attracting the same experiences in relationships as adults!

And the absolute best thing about this scenario is that there is not only a way out of it!

Goodness,
you’ll know yourself so well,
love yourself no matter what
and have such gratitude for the life you can consciously create despite the immense suffering!

And it starts with learning to meet these needs yourself and stop outsourcing them!

Depending on the impressions, beliefs, level of trauma, type of trauma and how many strategies we’ve used to avoid, repress and disconnect from the pain around the emotional wounds will determine the lengths we need to go to to reparent ourselves.

In my experience there is no one size fits all, healing is so unique but there are principles that apply to everyone and that will support navigation of your inner world and transforming the pain into love!

Reparenting the self is a courageous journey and it requires so much patience and love that really can only come from you and Divinity.

🪷 Sit with the concept that we’re all spirit souls, even our parents. However inadequate, narcissistic, incapable and absent their parenting, they have a soul.
Throughout our human experience we are fallible, make mistakes and ultimately we’re just playing out roles to one another throughout our time here.

🪷 When you feel triggered or overwhelmed by their incapabilities (we all have them) allow yourself to grieve the needs that were never met. The love you never received.

🪷 Try to understand exactly what needs your lower self (inner child) are still yearning and crying out for and look at ways you can meet these yourself.
When the emotion arises learn to observe it (they’re just sensations in the body)

How our caregivers treated us later becomes how we treat ourselves, our internal dialogue and this is often quite harsh, mean and unrealistic!
For Empaths this includes immense amounts of guilt and shame. Instead of treating others this way as it was done to us (harsh judgements, put downs and criticism) we just internalize it.
Take some time to sit with how your parentings treated you and your emotions when you were in pain?
And how do you still treat yourself this way?

The hardest emotional wound to heal is by far “I’m unloveable.”

If we feel inherently that we’re unlovable at the core of our psyche we will -

▪️ attract people who can just never meet our needs
▪️ attract people who betray and abandon us
▪️look for external validation instead of love
▪️ be hard on ourselves (perfectionism + strong inner critic)
▪️ have strong limerence whenever we start a relationship

To heal isn’t just about focusing on all the ways you are loveable. All your loveable qualities, it’s learning to embrace and love the darkest parts of you.

But more than this it’s we need to feel it from others to even know what it is!!! What it means!

Find a good coach or therapist who
▪️Creates a space for you to connect with these parts of yourself again.
▪️Who continually shows up for you,
▪️Who believes in you,
▪️Who celebrates you! All your wins great and small
▪️Who holds you accountable

From this space you will not only see yourself but learn how to truly love yourself. 🩵

As a monk I spent years spiritually by-passing.

Running from my immense emotional pain
and
trying to fit all the parts of myself that I truly believed were unlovable
into something that others would validate and accept.
Only then maybe I could too.

Sadly in most religions and ‘spiritual’ movements it’s common practice to focus on ‘transcending’ our emotional world and whilst these practices have their place.

If we neglect early childhood development issues - avoiding our emotional world.

We not only end up spiritually bypassing but we only develop a spiritual identity and will never be able to see, understand or really connect with ourselves.

If we can’t connect with ourselves, how can we build/create/remember your relationship with divinity?

However, on the other end of the spectrum...
most forms of psychotherapy, counselling and psychiatry keep us fixed on the stories that were born from our traumatised self,

digging into the unconscious psyche and only deepening our emotional wounds, convincing us that this is all there is.

So what is the solution?

We need proper psychological tools and support to help us see, work on and properly utilize our emotional world
And
We need spirituality to move beyond the mind, intelligence and false ego to see, feel and know we’re so much more than this body and mind.

Combining the two allows us to tackle any of life’s challenges confidently.

Embodying the practices into our hearts, in a human relational and practical way that gives us a framework for our own unique authentic expression and to continue to open, trust and lean into Divine grace.

This is why I created ATMA. To support women in navigating both their emotional world - mastery and divine connection.

Most of my experiences with others, until 5 years ago, were immensely painful.

I craved love, care, affection, and depth of closeness - to be seen but simultaneously it was so painful to let anyone into my heart.

Actually, it was terrifying!

Despite my deep desire to meet these needs in healthy ways,
❌ I feared being abandoned more,
❌ I feared being rejected more,
❌but most of all I feared losing myself in the connection
❌ Only to feel my trust and good intentions betrayed yet again!

After all this was all I’d ever experienced in relationships.

Until I followed to these exact steps below my whole reality changed!

✅ Vulnerability is the antidote for loneliness because it creates better quality and depth of connection but first we must learn to be vulnerable with ourselves.

✅ Create awareness around, what triggers your survival resources or coping strategies through somatic practices - learn to be with yourself in those painful emotions (remember your emotions are just feedback for how to invite love into your life).

✅ Find ways of seeing the Divine symbology. This process of vulnerability is akin to the surrender needed in any spiritual practice. By facing these parts of self they’re bringing you closer to your soul’s purpose.

✅ Understand your unique personality needs. Explore what lights you up! As you bring awareness to how you can be vulnerable and caring with yourself, there will be space between who you outside of that pattern.

✅ Boundaries - As our unique identity starts to shine through and needs become clear, you can understand
🔅Your fears around being with other people
🔅What it means to be open and vulnerable with others,
🔅What it means to connect, meet your needs effortlessly and build those deeper relationships.

Whilst we cannot change our past traumas and high unmet needs from childhood we can be there for ourselves in ways that not only meets those needs but transforms our hearts and our perceptions of reality to co-create a truly magical life!

One of deep contentment, whether we’re alone or with others.

Your reality, perception and identity no longer based on externals but on your values and qualities.

The most common emotion for Empaths is Anxiety

There are 2 reasons for this -

👉🏻 Strong internal framework of people pleasing and/or codependency meaning you need external validation to feel safe and this has been triggered.

👉🏻Going through an upgrade/growth space and you’re being called to shift your perspective and rely more on spiritual sight and intuition - false ego resisting relinquishing control.

However, in both anxiety still means we’re trying to meet our needs outside of ourselves.

And the longer the pattern has been there the more painful it will feel.

It can be so extreme we literally feel like we’re dying. And in a sense we are because the death of the false ego is far more painful than the death of the body!

There’s nothing wrong with external validation or asking for others to meet our needs.

The issue or anxiety arises when we don’t see ourselves, validate ourselves, spend time knowing ourselves BEFORE we ask for validation from outside.

Our sense of self is completely reliant upon externals only!

Let’s break this pattern together and embrace emotional mastery!

Follow these steps with me -

❤️ Regulate your nervous system - Bring your focus to your breath.Bring your breath right down into your abdomen. Feel out where the anxiety is within the body. (Knots in the stomach) visualize the knots being untied.
Focus on somatic reprogramming until you feel safe in your body again.

💜 Think back to the moment that triggered the anxiety.
The situation or exchange before the anxiety.
It can even be something you said to yourself.
What are you saying to yourself?

💚 Try to understand what you’re needing that didn’t get met,
What need you were trying to meet in the exchange, situation in the present or past.
(connection, seen and heard, validation)

🩵Find ways to meet those needs yourself

It’s such a common experience for Empaths that often leaves us feeling like

❌ The black sheep of our family and/or social situations
❌ We don’t belong/don’t fit in
❌ We’re rejected or abandoned

When we’re not validated in positive ways, especially in our younger years, we tend to make up our own meanings about who we are inherently and sadly this is not only really harmful for our growth and evolution in the present but it’s also completely untrue!

The truth is Empaths are trying to fit themselves into and validate themselves through a society that was never designed for them!

When we can bravely step away from the minds meaning
and
see that it’s others’ complete incapability to connect with their own emotional world
and
Therefore nothing to do with our unique and amazing personality we can truly start our journey to emotional mastery.

And give ourselves permission to be the way divinity intended us to be.

Empaths often give out way more than we receive from our physical reality!

Yes, it can be very codependent and people pleasing patterns as well as mainly attracting people that only need us so that we don’t ever have to be vulnerable.
Not feeling worthy of receiving what we truly deserve.

But

It can also be because spiritually we’re aligning more with our purpose - a life of being of service and knowing that real love and real empathy come from our connection with Divinity.

So we choose to fill ourselves up here, to invest our energy here and know that everything that flows into our lives is to help us realise this sacred truth!

I used to feel terrified to face myself.

Standing in all the aloneness and feeling all the big feelings was really tough.

As I slowly allowed myself to feel, to be vulnerable. Gave myself permission to rest long enough to be present with myself.

I realized I actually wasn’t afraid to face my feelings.

I was afraid of facing the meaning, the beliefs I created around the emotions.

The horrible things I was told about myself growing up turned into what I actually believed about myself as an adult.

And all the stories that gave them validity.
Even though I knew it wasn’t true, consciously.

The power of the emotional charge far outweighed anything I could consciously say as a rebuttal.

I felt so powerless and frustrated that I couldn’t rely or trust myself!

Fast forward to today and whilst I cannot control the turbulence of life.

I no longer feel fear to face myself
I truly trust and accept myself
and I have clear steps to not only navigate my emotional world but to utilise it in such a way that it brings me closer to my purpose.

I don’t believe there is an end to the inner work as it’s the reason we’re here!
It’s such an integral part of our spiritual evolution!

But we absolutely don’t need to suffer alone in the dark with no support or inner tools!

Emotions are our own personalized feedback mechanism.

How we feel about a situation tells us not only what’s happening in our inner world but also how to navigate our external environment.

If you’re noticing one or more of these arise often in your day to day here are some remedies -

ANXIETY - Most Empaths live in a state of low level anxiety and when triggered we’ll likely go into people pleasing/codependent patterns which leave us feeling really unsafe, uncertain and mentally scattered.
Remedying this is all about finding ways that you can give yourself safety, certainty and security internally, not just externally.

DEPRESSION - Weighs heavy when we carry a lot of guilt and shame as well as don’t know our personality needs and how to meet them in our day to day lives. You can remedy this by noticing what you’re saying to yourself when you feel bad/low energy and question yourself if what you’re saying to yourself is actually true!
Meeting needs here will be around our soul purpose.

ANGER - Fight mode is a common reaction to a boundary violation.
But often internally what we’re feeling is either abandoned and completely unseen and unheard!
Remedy this by finding ways to see and hear yourself through either writing, meditation as well as activities that bring joy to your inner child. That make you feel connected.

1. Revealing your mind -
Revealing your mind in confidence means talking to the Divine Feminine as if you were talking with a close friend and telling them what’s on your mind.
What’s concerning you, what’s upsetting you, what makes you happy… etc.

2. Offering gifts from the heart -
Unlike material relationships, spiritual relationships are only beneficial, there is only good (yes, even when it doesn’t feel like it!)
